M.A.C. Lofts Exclusive | 180mm Flip-Up Motivational Disc Perch

A new approach to motivational perching — developed in response to customer requests.

Introducing our brand-new 180mm Flip-Up Motivational Disc Perch, designed for racing pigeon fanciers looking to introduce greater control and flexibility into their loft management and motivational racing systems.

Following repeated customer requests, M.A.C. Lofts has developed this practical wall-mounted design, allowing individual disc perches to be raised or lowered whenever required.

The Principle Behind the Design

Motivational pigeon racing isn't simply about providing somewhere for birds to perch. For many fanciers, territory, familiarity and controlled access to favoured positions can form an important part of their racing management.

The principle of using controlled loft access as part of a motivational system is also reflected in discussions surrounding the well-known Ace Lofts (Malik & Khan) racing approach.

Our new flip-up motivational perch offers fanciers a practical means of incorporating this general principle into their own lofts.

With the perch lowered, the bird has access to its designated position. Raising the perch temporarily removes that position from use, giving the fancier greater control over perch availability.

The aim is simple: more flexibility for the fancier and another tool for managing territorial motivation.

Key Features

• 180mm diameter circular disc perch.

• Practical flip-up hinge mechanism.

• Supplied with a dedicated wall-mounting bracket.

• Allows individual perching positions to be made available or unavailable.

• Suitable for young bird and old bird racing sections.

• Designed for use within various motivational racing methods.

• Developed following requests from racing pigeon fanciers.

Designed for the Modern Racing Loft

Whether you're experimenting with territorial motivation, refining an established racing system or simply looking for a more versatile alternative to conventional fixed disc perches, our latest design provides a straightforward solution.

The flip-up mechanism allows the perch to remain mounted while the perching position itself can be temporarily withdrawn from use.
