Turn your existing widowhood nest boxes into practical, multi-purpose perch spaces with this brand new problem-solving plastic adaptor kit from M.A.C. Lofts.

Designed to work with 12mm plywood divider panels, this adaptor kit allows a standard nest box to be split into multiple perch spaces, giving fanciers a simple and cost-effective way to get more use from their existing loft setup.

This style of removable divider system is often seen in premium Hermes nest box systems, where add-on divider panels allow nest boxes to be converted into multi-functional boxes. Our solution gives you a far more affordable way to achieve a very similar practical result.

When used inside our standard M.A.C. Lofts Basic or Premium Widowhood Nest Boxes, using 2 dividers per box, each perch space can achieve an approximate width of 230mm.

That means a standard set of 4 widowhood boxes high can easily be converted into 12 individual perch spaces when required.

Perfect for fanciers who want more flexibility from their loft without replacing full sections of nest boxes.

DIY Adaptor Kit

Each pack includes 2 plastic adaptors and 8 screws, making up one DIY divider adaptor kit.

You cut your own 12mm plywood divider panel to the required size, allowing approximately 20mm off the internal height so the divider can lift on and off easily once installed.

One adaptor is fitted to the rear top of the plywood divider and one adaptor is fitted to the rear bottom. The completed divider is then located onto screws fitted into the back panel of your nest box.

The adaptors are designed with simple lift-off fixing slots, allowing the divider to be removed and refitted whenever required.

How the DIY kit works:

Cut your 12mm plywood divider panel to the required size, allowing approximately 20mm clearance on the height.
Attach one adaptor to the rear top of the plywood panel.
Attach the second adaptor to the rear bottom of the plywood panel.
Use the supplied screws to secure the adaptors to your plywood divider.
Position the completed divider inside your nest box.
Install the locating screws into the rear back panel of the nest box.
The completed divider then simply lifts on and off when needed.

Turnkey Ready-Made Option Also Available

If you would prefer a complete ready-to-fit system, we can also supply these as a full turnkey option.

With the turnkey version, we cut the plywood divider panel, pre-install the plastic adaptors, and send the complete divider ready for you to fit into your nest box.

This is the easiest option if you want the finished divider supplied ready to install without cutting the plywood yourself.

Please note: This listing is for the plastic adaptor kit only. The 12mm plywood divider panel is not included with this DIY version and must be cut by the customer to suit their own nest box size.
