Feeding Recommendations

While suitable for a variety of feeding applications, we recommend feeding straight grains such as barley where possible. Mixed corn can encourage selective feeding behaviour, resulting in unnecessary waste and increasing the likelihood of feed bridging or blockages within the hopper.

For optimum loft hygiene, many fanciers choose to position hoppers above grilled flooring to help prevent birds from feeding amongst droppings, bedding and other contaminants.

Installation Recommendations

For maximum stability and safety, we strongly recommend securing the hopper to a suitable wall or loft structure.
